Returns Process
HSS CHARGEABLE RETURNS EXTERNAL PROCESS
Return Merchandise Authorisation or Return Material Authorisation (RMA)
Note: Products returned without an HSS_RMA number will be refused.
STEP 2: PACK THE PRODUCT SECURELY

Pack the Product(s) securely, wrapped or packaged and in an external carton.

Make sure you include a copy of the Packing List with your return.

Make sure you include your name address and a contact telephone number.
STEP 3: ADDRESS CLEARLY & MARK "HSS_RMA” NUMBER ON OUTSIDE OF PACKAGE
Clearly mark the outside of the package or carton with the Hawker Siddeley Switchgear Ltd address, telephone number and HSS_RMA number, as shown below.

STEP 4: SEND YOU’RE PACKAGE, CARRIAGE & INSURANCE PAID TO - Spares, Service & Repair Department, Hawker Siddeley Switchgear Ltd
The customer is responsible for all shipping charges for products returned under our Returns Procedure unless this has been specifically agreed and confirmed in advance. HSS will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of goods during return, please make sure that the insurance cover option is taken with the courier service provider.
On shipment of goods please email Purchase Order to the value of the Inspection Charge given in step one to returns@hss-ltd.com in order for your returns to be inspected.
STEP 5: ON RECEIPT AT HSS - PRODUCTS WILL BE INSPECTED
Upon receipt, all products will be inspected; our Spares, Service and Repair Department will advise you on the chargeable repairs needed to repair the goods.
Which can include parts, labour & test costs’

Packages without an HSS_RMA number on the outside will be refused.

Incomplete packages will not be accepted.

Please make sure the goods are insured during transit.
STEP 6: THE REPAIR
STEP 7: RETURN DELIVERY
Once the goods are repaired a member of the Spares & Service Department will contact you to arrange delivery, please note this can be EXW or chargeable.
